1. Introduction and Controller Identity
Vyouizi ("we", "our", "us") is the virtual try-on application available at vyouizi.app and on the App Store. We are operated by:

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with:
- EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — Regulation 2016/679

- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
- UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL)
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data
When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we collect your email address and an account identifier. Email sign-in is passwordless: we send a one-time verification code, so we never create or store a password for you.
2.2 Your Images
To provide the core service, you upload:
- photos of yourself, captured from several angles, which we use to build your personal try-on model;
- photos of your garments.
These images may show your face and body. We process them solely to generate try-on visualizations and to organize your wardrobe.
- We do not use facial recognition to identify you.
- We do not use your images to train our own or third-party AI models.
- We do not use your images for advertising.
- The background of garment photos is removed on your device before any upload, where technically supported.
You may only upload images of yourself, or of other people with their explicit consent, and garment images you have the right to use. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
2.3 Derived Data
From your garment photos we automatically generate descriptive attributes (such as category, colour, material, season) to power wardrobe and styling features. From your images we generate rendered try-on results.
2.4 Subscription Data
If you subscribe to Vyouizi+, the purchase is processed by Apple via in-app purchase. We receive transaction and entitlement information from Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
2.5 Technical Data
App version, device type, language, crash and performance reports, IP address (used for region detection), and session timestamps.
2.6 Optional Context Data (only with your permission)
- Location — approximate location for weather-aware styling;
- Calendar — event titles and times to suggest outfits for upcoming occasions;
- Notifications — to send updates you opt into.
Each is requested separately and can be turned off in your device settings at any time.
3. How We Use Your Data

You can withdraw any consent at any time in the app or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Data Storage and Transfers
4.1 Server Locations
Primary server in France (EU), provider OVH SAS. Your account data, images and renders are stored within the European Union.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your images with advertisers.
4.3 International Transfers
- United Kingdom (FASHN): covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision for the UK.
- United States (Anthropic, OpenAI, and where applicable Apple/Google): transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures.

5. Data Retention
- Your images and try-on model: until you delete them or close your account.
- Rendered results: cached for performance; deleted when you delete the related item/model or your account.
- Account data: until account deletion + 30 days.
- Subscription records: 7 years (legal/tax requirement).
- Analytics data: 12 months.
- IP addresses: 30 days.
6. Your Rights
6.1 All Users (GDPR, CCPA, PDPL)
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), export your data (data portability), restrict processing, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can delete most data — including your images and try-on model — directly in the app.
To exercise any right, email info@vyouizi.app. We respond within 30 days.
6.2 California Residents (CCPA)
Additional rights: know what personal information is collected, know if it is sold or disclosed, and opt out of sale. We do NOT sell personal information.
6.3 UAE Users (PDPL 2022)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Contact: info@vyouizi.app.
7. Cookies
The vyouizi.app website uses cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled.
8. Children's Privacy
Vyouizi is intended only for users aged 18 and over. Because the app processes photos of a person's face and body, we apply this age limit strictly and do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact info@vyouizi.app and we will delete it.
9. Security
We implement: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, on-device background removal for garment photos, strict access controls limiting who can access your images, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the competent authority of a qualifying breach as required by law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
